தங்கராஜ்

இதை எழுதவா நான் எழுத்தைப் பயின்றேன் என்று மனம் விம்முகிறது. ஆனால் இதை எழுதாமல் எழுத்தைப் பயின்று என்ன பயன் என்று அறிவு வலியுறுத்துகிறது.

தீமைகளைக் கண்டு வாழ்வு பணிந்து விடுவதில்லை, எல்லாக் காலங்களிலும் அதனை எதிர்ப்பதற்கான சக்தியை மனிதன் தனது வாழ்வுக்குள் இருந்துதான் கண்டறிந்து கொடுக்கிறான். ஆனால் எல்லோரும் கண்டறிந்து கொடுத்துவிடுவதில்லை. ஒருசிலர் மட்டுமே அதனைச் செய்கின்றனர். அதைச் செய்த ஒருவர் அக்டோபர் 29-ம் தேதி மதுரை அருகே நடந்த சாலை விபத்தில் அகால மரணமடைந்தார்.

ஜனநாயக மாண்புகளைப் பாது காக்கும் பெரும் பணியில் தன்னை முழுமையாக ஈடுபடுத்திக்கொண்ட தங்கராஜ், அதன் பொருட்டு அவர் சந்தித்த இன்னல்கள், அவமானங்கள், இழப்புகள் எண்ணற்றவை. மதுரை மாவட்டத்தில் நத்தப்பட்டி என்ற சிற்றூரில் சிறிய விவசாயக் குடும்பத்தில் பிறந்தவர் தங்கராஜ். குடும்பச் சூழல் எட்டாம் வகுப்போடு அவரது பள்ளிக் கல்வியை முடிவுக்குக் கொண்டுவந்தது. இளம் வயது முதலே மார்க்சிஸ்ட் கட்சியோடு தன்னை இணைத்துக்கொண்டவர்.

1996-ம் ஆண்டு உள்ளாட்சிகளுக்கான தேர்தல் அறிவிக்கப்பட்டபோது ஊடகங்களில் அடிபடத் தொடங்கிய கிராமப் பெயர்கள் பாப்பாபட்டி, கீரிப்பட்டி, நாட்டார்மங்கலம். இம்மூன்று கிராமங்களிலும் இடஒதுக்கீட்டின் அடிப்படையில் பஞ்சாயத்துத் தலைவர் பதவி தலித் மக்களுக்கு ஒதுக்கப்பட்டது. இந்த ஒதுக்கீட்டை ஏற்கமுடியாது என எதிர்ப்புத் தெரிவித்த சாதிய சக்திகள் பத்து ஆண்டுகள் தலித் மக்களை அப்பதவியில் அமரவிடாமல் செய்தனர். தீண்டாமையின் புதிய வடிவம் ஒன்றை உலகுக்குப் பறைசாற்றினர்.

17 முறை தேர்தல் அறிவிக்கப்பட்டு, நடத்தப்பட்டும் அரசியல் சாசனம் கூறும் இடஒதுக்கீட்டை அமல்படுத்த முடியவில்லை. சட்டம் சாதியத்துக்குக் கீழ்ப்படிந்த நிலை கண்டும் ஆள்வோருக்குக் கோபம் வரவில்லை. தாழ்த்தப்பட்டோர் மற்றும் பழங்குடியினருக்கான தேசிய ஆணையத்தின் கண்டனத்தைச் சந்தித்த பின்பும் மாநில அரசு தனது நிலைகளில் மாற்றம் கொண்டுவரவில்லை. இந்நிலை யில் இதனை ஜனநாயக சமூகத்தின் அவமானமாகக் கருதி, இதற்கு எதிராகத் தொடர்ந்து இயங்கியவர்கள் விடுதலை சிறுத்தைகள் இயக்கமும், மார்க்சிஸ்ட் கம்யூனிஸ்ட் கட்சியும்தான்.

விடுதலைச் சிறுத்தைகள் இத்தேர்தல்க ளில் ஐந்து முறை வேட்பாளர்களை நிறுத்தினர். கிராம முடிவுக்கு எதிராக யாரும் போட்டியிட முடியாது என்ற நிலையை அவர்கள்தான் முதலில் உடைத்தனர். அதுவரை தேர்தலே நடத்த முடியாத நிலையை உருவாக்கியிருந்த சாதிய சக்திகள், அதன் பின் தேர்தலை நடத்தி, வெற்றி பெறுபவரை ராஜிநாமா செய்யவைக்கும் புதிய உத்தியைக் கண்டுபிடித்தனர்.

இப்புதிய உத்தியை முறிக்கும் தந்திரத் தோடு, இந்த ஜனநாயகப் போராட்டத்தை அடுத்த கட்டத்துக்கு எடுத்துச் சென்றது மார்க்சிஸ்ட் கட்சி. 2006-ம் ஆண்டில் நடைபெற்ற உள்ளாட்சித் தேர்தலின்போது இம்மூன்று கிராமங்களிலும் தலைவர் மற்றும் வார்டு உறுப்பினர் பதவிக்குப் போட்டியிட்டவர்களின் எண்ணிக்கை 56. இதில் கிராமத்தின் சார்பில் நிறுத்தப்பட்டவர்கள் 20 பேர். மார்க்சிஸ்ட் கட்சியின் சார்பில் நிறுத்தப்பட்டவர்கள் 20 பேர். மாவட்ட நிர்வாகத்தின் பிரச்சாரத்தால் உந்தப்பட்டு சுயேச்சையாகப் போட்டி யிட்டவர்கள் 16 பேர். இத்தேர்தலே பத்தாண்டுக் கால அநீதியை முடிவுக்குக் கொண்டுவந்தது.

கொள்கையில் உறுதி

பத்தாண்டுகளாக யாராலும் என்ன செய்தும் நடைமுறைப்படுத்த முடியாத ஒன்று எப்படி 2006-ல் முடிவுக்கு வந்தது? அதன் பிறகும் அவர்களைப் பின்னுக்கு போகவிடாமல் நிறுத்திவைத்தது எது என்றெல்லாம் கேள்வி எழுப்பினால் இம்முயற்சிக்குப் பின்னால் இருந்த பலரின் உழைப்பும், உறுதிப்பாடும், தியாகமும் தெரியவரும். அவற்றின் முதன்மை நாயகன் தங்கராஜ். தனது சொந்த சாதிக்கு எதிராக, உறவுகளுக்கு எதிராக அவர் நடத்திய போராட்டம் வீரம் மிக்கது. அதன் பொருட்டு அவர் சந்தித்த இன்னல்கள், அவமானங்கள் ஒருபோதும் அவர் வாய் திறந்து பேசாதது. தான் தேர்வு செய்த கொள்கைக்குத் தான் கொடுக்கவேண்டிய விலை இது என்ற புரிதலோடு அவர் வாழ்வை முன்னெடுத்தார். சாதியத்தைப் பற்றியும், உழைக்கும் மக்களின் ஒற்றுமையைப் பற்றியும் அவர் கொண்டிருந்த புரிதலே இச்செயல்பாட்டின் அடிப்படை.

சாதிய சக்திகளுக்கும், மக்களுக்கும் இடையில் ஒரு பிளவை உருவாக்குவதில் அவர் ஆற்றிய தீரமிகு பங்கே தேசிய அவமானத்தில் இருந்து தமிழகம் தன்னை மீட்டெடுத்துக்கொள்வதற்கு அடிப்படையாக அமைந்தது.

தகர்ந்த தீண்டாமைச் சுவர்

இதனைத் தொடர்ந்து 2008-ம் ஆண்டு தீண்டாமை ஒழிப்பு முன்னணி நடத்திய கள ஆய்வின் வழியே வெளி உலகின் கவனத்துக்குக் கொண்டுவரப்பட்டது உத்தப்புரம் தீண்டாமைச் சுவர். அதன்பின் ஆண்டுக்கணக்காக நீடித்தது அந்தச் சுவருக்கு எதிரான போராட்டம். காவல்துறையின் தடியடி, கண்ணீர்ப் புகை வீச்சு, துப்பாக்கிச் சூடு, மரணம் என நீடித்தன நிகழ்வுகள். இப்போரட்டங்களில் எல்லாம் உத்தப்புரம் தலித் மக்களோடு இணைந்து சோர்வறியாது இயங்கியவர் தங்கராஜ்.

சமநிலைச் சமூகத்தை உருவாக்கும் பயணத்தில், தீமையுடன் சமரசம் செய்தல் பண்பாகாது என்று தங்களின் வாழ்வின் மூலம் சொல்லிச் சென்ற முன்னோர்கள் பலர். அவ்வழியே பயணித்த நிகழ்கால சாட்சியம்தான் தங்கராஜ். பிற்படுத்தப்பட்ட சமூகத்தில் பிறந்து, தலித் மக்களின் விடுதலைக்காக அயராது உழைத்து, தென்தமிழகம் எங்கும் செயல்பாட்டை விரித்ததன் மூலம். தீண்டாமை ஒழிப்பு முன்னணியின் மாநிலச் செயலாளரானார்.

தனது 49-வது வயதில் இயக்கப் பணியாற்றிவிட்டுத் திரும்பும் வழியில் ஏற்பட்ட விபத்தில் அவர் மரணமடைய நேரிட்டது. தமிழ்ச்செல்வி தனது கணவனையும், அனாமிகாவும், அனுசீலனும் தனது தந்தையையும் இழந்து தவிக்கிறார்கள். இச்சமூகமும் சமநீதிக்கான போராளியை இழந்து தவிக்கிறது.

தங்கராஜின் வாழ்வு மொத்த சமூகத்துக்கான முன்னுதாரணங்களால் அலங்கரிக்கப்பட்டது. நுகர்வு கலாச்சாரத்தின் பிடியில் மனிதக் கூட்டம் சிக்கியிருக்கும் இக்காலத்தில் ஒருவர் சமூக மேன்மைக்காகத் தன்னை எப்படி ஒப்புக்கொடுத்துள்ளார் என்பதைப் பார்க்கும்போது மனம் பணிந்து வணங்குகிறது.

AIIEA units in Dharmapuri village : Rs 170000 worth relief to dalit victims

SZIEF condemns the cruel attacks perpetrated on the dalit houses in the 

Naikkenkottai village of Dharmapuri district of Tamilnadu which created

wide spread resentment among the democratic sections of the society.

The whole nation was shocked on hearing the news of violence unleashed by 

caste hindus on the dalits of three colonies in Naikkenkottai village of  Dharmapuri 

district on 7th Nov 2012.  Reason for violence is inter caste

marriage between Sri Ilavarasan dalit youth of that village and Smt Divya 

belonging to another backward caste. According to reports caste hindus numbering

more than 1500 entered dalit colonies and indulged in violence for more than

4 hours. Every house was attacked and looted. Belongings of dalits were burnt.

Virtually hundreds of families made homeless and lost every things required

for daily life. 

Our ICEU Salem unit took the initiative to visit the village on friday on 9th Nov 2012

and assessed the damages caused by the violence. The call was given by the 

South Zone Insurance Employees' Federation for the relief fund and all the 13 divisional

units have responded immediately. Our General insurance units also joined our effort.

Within 12 hours Rs 170000 has been mobilised and the relief materials including 

bedsheets, groceries have been arranged. On 10th Nov our comrades along with 

Tamilnadu Untouchability Eradication Front distributed relief materials affected 

dalit people there.

Com P Sampath President, Com K Samuelraj General Secretary TNUEF and CPI-M

MLAs Com K Balakrishnan, Delhi babu, Bhimrao participated in the meeting. Com

R Dharmalingam Vice president, SZIEF, Com A Kaliyaperumal President ,

Com R Narasimhan, General secretary, ICEU, Salem division and Com Madheswaran,

Chakravarthy (CRGIEA) distributed the relief materials.

TNUEF has given a call for protest demonstrations throughout the state on Nov 15th and 

AIIEA units also will participated in those programmes.

SZIEF congratulates ICEU Salem divisional unit, particularly Dharmapuri district comrades

for taking initiative to express our solidarity with dalit people against social oppression and 

thank all the divisional units of TN and Kerela for responding to the call for mobilisation of

funds.

AIIEA is the organisation which would be in forefront in fighting the social oppression and

upholding social justice by involving its membership in action. ICEU Salem and all the divisional

units of SZIEF have proved it again.

Our efforts to get justice for dalit victims continue in whatever form required.

        தீண்டாமை ஒழிப்பு முன்னணி நேரடி நடவடிக்கை  மாபெரும் வெற்றி

தமிழகத்தில், அமரர் பி.சீனி வாசராவ் நினைவு நாளையொட்டி தீண்டாமை ஒழிப்பு முன்னணி தலைமையில் எட்டு இடங்களில் நடைபெற்ற தீண்டாமை ஒழிப்பு போராட்டங்கள் பெருமளவில் வெற்றிபெற்றுள்ளன. இதுகுறித்து தமிழ்நாடு தீண் டாமை ஒழிப்பு முன்னணியின் மாநிலத் தலைவர் பி.சம்பத், பொதுச் செயலாளர் கே.சாமுவேல்ராஜ் ஆகி யோர் அளித்துள்ள விபரம் வருமாறு:கீழ்தஞ்சையில் தீண்டாமைக் கொடுமைகளுக்கு முடிவு கட்டும் வகையில் போராடிய தோழர் பி.சீனி வாசராவ் அவர்களின் நினைவு தினமான செப்டம்பர் 30 அன்று நேரடி நடவடிக்கைகளை மேற் கொள்வது என்று தமிழ்நாடு தீண் டாமை ஒழிப்பு முன்னணி முடி வெடுத்தது. அதனடிப்படையில் கோவை, ஈரோடு, சேலம், திரு வண்ணாமலை, திருப்பூர், வேலூர், புதுக்கோட்டை மற்றும் திண்டுக் கல் ஆகிய மாவட்டங்களில் நேரடி நடவடிக்கைகளுக்கு அறைகூவல் விடுக்கப்பட்டது. 

காளப்பட்டி

கோயம்புத்தூர் காளப்பட்டி மாரி யம்மன் கோவிலுக்குள் அருந்ததிய மக்களும் இதர தாழ்த்தப்பட்ட மக் களும் அனுமதிக்கப்படாத நிலை இருந்தது. அவர்களை அழைத்துக் கொண்டு ஆலயத்துக்குள் நுழை வது என்று முடிவெடுத்து நடந்த நேரடி நடவடிக்கை வெற்றி பெற்றுள் ளது. அரை நூற்றாண்டு கால மாகவே இந்தக் கோவிலுக்குள் நுழைவது என்பது அருந்ததிய மக்க ளைப் பொறுத்தவரை வெறும் கன வாகவே இருந்து வந்தது. இன்றைய தினம் அப்பகுதி அருந்ததிய மக்க ளும் இதர பகுதி அருந்ததிய மற்றும் இதர தாழ்த்தப்பட்ட மக்களும் ஆலயத்திற்குள் சென்று வழிபட் டனர். அவர்கள் ஆனந்தக் கண்ணீ ரோடு வழிபட்டதோடு, ஆலய நுழை வுப் போராட்டத்திற்கு தங்கள் நன்றி யையும் தெரிவித்துக் கொண்டனர். உணர்ச்சிகரமான நிகழ்வாக இருந்த இந்தப் போராட்டத்தில் மார்க்சிஸ்ட் கம்யூனிஸ்ட் கட்சி, தமிழ்நாடு தீண் டாமை ஒழிப்பு முன்னணி, ஆதித் தமிழர் பேரவை, ஆதித்தமிழர் விடு தலை முன்னணி, பல வர்க்க, வெகு ஜன அமைப்புகள் உள்ளிட்ட பல் வேறு ஜனநாயக மற்றும் தலித் அமைப்புகள் பங்கேற்றன. 2 ஆயி ரத்திற்கும் மேற்பட்ட மக்கள் பங் கேற்ற இந்தப் போராட்டம் மிகவும் எழுச்சிகரமான வகையில் அமைந் தது. பங்கேற்றவர்களில் பாதிப்பேர் தலித் அல்லாத உழைப்பாளி மக் கள் என்பது குறிப்பிடத்தக்க அம்ச மாகும்.

வாவிக்கடை

ஈரோடு வாவிக்கடை அண்ண மார் - மதுரை வீரன் கோவில் அருந் ததிய சமூகத்தினரின் சொந்தக் கோவிலாகும். தனக்கு ஏன் முடி வெட்டவில்லை என்று ஒரு தலித் வாலிபர் கேட்டதற்காக கோவில் வழிபாட்டு உரிமையை ஆதிக்க சக்திகள் வன்முறை வெறியாட்டம் நடத்தி மறுத்தன. கடந்த ஐந்து ஆண்டுகளாக சொந்தக் கோவிலுக் குள் நுழைந்து வழிபட முடியாத நிலை இருந்து வந்தது. நேரடி நட வடிக்கைகளின் ஒரு பகுதியாக கோவிலுக்குள் அருந்ததிய மக்க ளோடு செல்வது என்று முன்னணி சார்பில் அறிவிக்கப்பட்டது. நியாய மான இந்தக் கோரிக்கைக்கு இருந்த ஆதரவைக் கண்டு மாவட்ட நிர் வாகம் நடத்திய பேச்சுவார்த்தை யின் அடிப்படையில், செப்டம்பர் 29 ஆம் தேதியன்றே இரு தரப்பு மக்க ளும் ஒற்றுமையாக கோவிலுக்குள் சென்று வழிபட்டனர். இரு தரப்பி லிருந்தும் நூற்றுக்கணக்கானோர் கலந்து கொண்டனர். இந்த ஒற்று மை தொடர வேண்டும் என்று தமிழ் நாடு தீண்டாமை ஒழிப்பு முன் னணி சார்பில் வலியுறுத்தப்பட்டது. 

காட்டுமரக்குட்டை

சேலம் வட்டம் காட்டுமரக் குட்டை கிராமத்தில் தலித் மக்க ளுக்கு பாதை மறுக்கப்பட்டு வந் தது. நேரடி நடவடிக்கையாக பாதை அமைக்கும் போராட்டத்திற்கு அழைப்பு விடுக்கப்பட்டது. மாநக ரத்தின் பல பகுதிகளிலிருந்து நூற் றுக்கணக்கான மக்கள் மற்றும் பாதிக்கப்பட்ட மக்கள் ஆகியோர் இணைந்து பாதை அமைக்கும் போராட்டத்திற்கு தயாராகி வந்தனர். இந்நிலையில் செப்டம்பர் 29 ஆம் தேதியன்று பேச்சுவார்த்தைக்கு அழைத்த மாவட்ட நிர்வாகம், தலித் மக்கள் செல்ல தடைவிதிக்கும் வகையில் அமைக்கப்பட்டிருந்த கற்களை உடனடியாக அகற்றி விடு வது என்றும், அந்தப் பொதுப் பாதையை தலித் மக்கள் பயன் படுத்திக் கொள்ளலாம் என்றும் கூறியது. மேலும் மூன்று மாதத்திற் குள் இதில் சாலை அமைத்துத் தருவது என்றும் எழுத்துப்பூர்வமாக மாவட்ட நிர்வாகம் உறுதியளித் துள்ளது.

கலசப்பாக்கம்

திருவண்ணாமலை கலசப்பாக் கம் அம்பேத்கர் நகர் பாதை அமைக் கும் நேரடி நடவடிக்கைக்கு அறை கூவல் விடப்பட்டிருந்தது. இந்தப் போராட்டத்தில் பங்கேற்க நூற்றுக் கணக்கான மக்கள் திரண்ட நிலை யில் உடனடியாக அந்தப் பாதையை அமைத்துத் தருவதாக மாவட்ட நிர்வாகம் உறுதிமொழி தந்தது. மேலும், பஞ்சமி நிலம் ஒன்று சம் பந்தமான பிரச்சனையிலும், அதைப் பெற்றுள்ள பயனாளிகள் நிலத்தை உடனடியாகப் பயன்படுத்திக் கொள்ள எந்தத்தடையும் இல்லை என்று மாவட்ட நிர்வாகம் அறி வித்தது.

நடுவேலம்பாளையம்

திருப்பூர் மாவட்டம் பல்லடம் ஒன்றியம் நடுவேலம்பாளையத்தில் 5.2 ஏக்கர் பஞ்சமி நிலம் சட்ட விரோதமாக தலித் அல்லாதவர்கள் கையில் உள்ளது. அந்த நிலத்தை வீட்டுமனைகளாக மாற்றி விற் பனை செய்வதற்கான வேலையும் நடந்து கொண்டிருந்தது. இதைத் தடுத்து அதை தலித் மக்களுக்கு பெற்றுத் தரும் வகையில் நேரடி நட வடிக்கைக்கு தமிழ்நாடு தீண் டாமை ஒழிப்பு முன்னணி அழைப்பு விடுத்தது. நூற்றுக்கணக்கான மக்கள் போராட்டத்தில் பங்கேற்ற நிலையில் பேச்சுவார்த்தைக்கு மாவட்ட நிர்வாகம் முன்வந்தது. அந்த நிலம் விற்பனை செய்யப்படு வதற்கு தடை விதித்து, அதற்கான உத்தரவை துணைப் பதிவாளருக்கு உடனடியாக அனுப்ப ஒப்புக் கொண் டனர். மேலும் அக்டோபர் 3 ஆம் தேதியன்று பஞ்சமி நிலத்தை புதிய பயனாளிகளிடம் ஒப்படைப்பது பற்றிய பேச்சுவார்த்தைக்கூட்டம் நடத்துவது என்றும் முடிவு செய்யப் பட்டுள்ளது.

வாலாஜாபேட்டை

வேலூர் வாலாஜாபேட்டை படவேட்டம்மன் கோவிலை ஒட்டி தலித் மக்களுக்கான பாதையை மறித்து ஆதிக்க சக்திகளால் தீண் டாமைச்சுவர் கட்டப்பட்டு வந்தது. இதை நேரடி நடவடிக்கை மூலம் அகற்றுவது என்று தமிழ்நாடு தீண் டாமை ஒழிப்பு முன்னணி விடுத்த அறைகூவலை ஏற்று ஏராளமான அளவில் மக்கள் திரண்டனர். பெரும் அளவில் மக்கள் திரள் வதைத் தடுக்க காவல்துறையின் அட்டூழியம் கட்டவிழ்த்து விடப்பட் டது. வரும் வழியிலேயே மக்க ளைக் கைது செய்வது, மிரட்டுவது போன்ற வேலைகள் நடந்தன. கைது நடவடிக்கைகளுக்குப் பிறகே ஆர்.டி.ஓ. நேரடியாக பேச்சு வார்த்தைக்கு முன்வந்தார். அக் டோபர் 10ஆம் தேதியன்று மாவட்ட வருவாய் அலுவலர்(டி.ஆர்.ஓ) முன் னிலையில் பேச்சுவார்த்தை நடத்தி பிரச்சனைக்கு முழுத்தீர்வு காண் பது என்று அப்போது முடிவு செய் யப்பட்டது. அதுவரையில், தீண்டா மைச் சுவரின் கட்டுமானப் பணியை மேற்கொண்டு தொடர அனுமதிக்கமாட்டோம் என்றும் ஆர்.டி.ஓ உறுதியளித்தார்.

கறம்பக்குடி

புதுக்கோட்டை மாவட்டம் கறம் பக்குடியில் 86 தலித் குடும்பங் களுக்கு நிலம் ஒதுக்கப்பட்டு பட்டா வும் வழங்கப்பட்டிருந்தது. ஆனால் அதைப் பயன்படுத்திக் கொள்ள அவர்கள் அனுமதிக்கப்படவில் லை. இந்நிலையில் நேரடி நட வடிக்கையாக அந்த நிலத்தில் குடி யேறுவது என்று முன்னணி சார் பில் அறிவிக்கப்பட்டு மக்கள் ஏராள மான அளவில் திரண்டனர். எழுச் சிகரமாக மக்கள் திரண்டதைக் கண்ட மாவட்ட நிர்வாகத்தின் தரப் பில் ஆர்.டி.ஓ பேச்சுவார்த்தைக்கு முன் வந்தார். பட்டாவின் நகலை மக்கள் காட்டியபோது, தள்ளிப் போடுவதற்கான உத்தியாக பட்டா வின் உண்மை நகல் இருந்தால் தான் நாங்கள் பேச முடியும் என்று இழுத்தடிக்கத் துவங்கினர். துரித மாகச் செயல்பட்ட சிலர் ஒரு மணி நேரத்திற்குள்ளாகவே பட்டாவின் உண்மை நகல்களோடு வந்ததால் அதிகாரிகள் திகைத்துப் போயினர். அந்த இடத்தை சென்று பார்வை யிட்ட பிறகே முடிவு செய்வோம் என்று அதிகாரிகள் கூறியபோது, மக்களும் சளைக்காமல், பரவா யில்லை; நாங்கள் இங்கேயே காத் திருக்கிறோம் என்று கூறினர். ஆனால் போராடும் மக்கள் கைது செய்யப்பட்டிருக்கிறார்கள். இத னால் போராட்டம் தீவிரமடையும் நிலை உள்ளது.

திண்டுக்கல் மரியநாதபுரத்தில் பிரதான சாலையை அடைய தலித் மக்கள் பயன்படுத்தும் பாதை மறிக் கப்பட்டு சுவர் கட்டப்பட்டிருந்தது. இதை நேரடி நடவடிக்கை மூலம் அகற்ற தமிழ்நாடு தீண்டாமை ஒழிப்பு முன்னணி அழைப்பு விடுத் தது. இதை அறிவிக்கும் வகையில் ஏற்கனவே அந்த சுவரைப் பார்வை யிட்டிருந்த முன்னணியின் மாநி லத் தலைவர் பி.சம்பத் பங்கேற்கும் பத்திரிகையாளர் சந்திப்புக்கு செப் டம்பர் 12 அன்று ஏற்பாடு செய்யப் பட்டிருந்தது. இந்நிலையில் அச் சுவரை எழுப்பியிருந்த சௌந்தர ராஜா மில் நிர்வாகம், அந்தச்சுவரை அப்புறப்படுத்திக் கொள்ளலாம் என்று திண்டுக்கல் சட்டமன்ற உறுப்பினர் கே.பாலபாரதியிடம் ஒப்பு தல் கடிதம் தந்தது. இதைத் தொடர்ந்து அன்றைய தினமே மக்கள் திரண்டெழுந்து அந்தச் சுவரை அப்புறப்படுத்தினர். 

கடந்த சட்டமன்றக்கூட்டத் தொடரில், தமிழகத்தில் தீண் டாமைக் கொடுமையே இல்லை என்று சொன்னதையே திரும்பத் திரும்பச் சொல்லிக் கொண்டிருந்த அமைச்சர்களுக்கு, அவர்கள் சொன்னது மகா பொய் என்பதைத் தான் இந்தப் போராட்டங்களும், வெற்றிகளும் காட்டுகின்றன. இன் னும் ஏராளமான கொடுமைகள் தொடர்ந்து கொண்டிருக்கின்றன. தமிழகத்தில் இத்தகைய கொடுமை களை முழுவதுமாக ஒழித்துக்கட்ட ஜனநாயக சக்திகளை இணைத் துக் கொண்டு தமிழ்நாடு தீண் டாமை ஒழிப்பு முன்னணி தொடர்ந்து போராடும்.

இந்தப் போராட்டங் களில் எழுச்சியோடு பங்கேற்ற பல்லாயிரக்கணக்கான தலித் மக்க ளுக்கும், தலித் மக்களின்  உரிமையை நிலைநாட்ட களத்தில் இறங்கிப் போராடிய தலித் அல்லாத இதர பகுதி உழைப்பாளி மக்களுக்கும், விடுதலைச் சிறுத்தைகள் கட்சி, ஆதித்தமிழர் பேரவை, ஆதித்தமிழர் விடுதலை முன்னணி, பகுஜன் சமாஜ் கட்சி, பல்வேறு வர்க்க, வெகுஜன அமைப்புகள் உள்ளிட்ட அனைத்து அமைப்புகளுக்கும் தமிழ்நாடு தீண்டாமை ஒழிப்பு முன் னணி பாராட்டுக்களையும், வாழ்த் துக்களையும் தெரிவித்துக் கொள் கிறது.

CONVENTION AGAINST CASTE OPPRESSION AT TIRUVARUR BY

ALL INDIA INSURANCE EMPLOYEES' ASSOCIATION

ON VENMANI DAY

More than 700 insurance employees including 50 women participated the convention

organised by the All india insurance employees association (AIIEA) at Tiruvarur

on 25th December 2010, the VENMANI MARTYRS DAY.

Sri K JAKKAIYAN , Joint secretary of Tamilnadu Untouchability Eradication Front

and General secretary of Arunthamizhar Iyakkam delivered key note address. He

impressed audience to wage united struggles against Hindutva and Brahminical

caste order which is the backbone of the caste system. He appreciated AIIEA

for its leading role in the movements against caste bias.

Smt S K Ponnuthai, General secretary, AIDWA, Madurai rural distrct who leads

the movement for dalit rights in Uthappuram, was honoured by the All india joint

secretary of AIIEA Sri J Gurumoorthy. She suffered severe injuries in the police attack on protestors in front of collectorate of Madurai. She expressed her determination to carry

forward the struggle and she thanked the cadres of AIIEA for having lent their

active support to the legal battle for dalits. She recalled the cadres of AIIEA

who spent several nights In Uthappuram and also for documentation for the

legal action. Smt N. Anandaselvi(SZIEF) presented memento to her.

Sri K. Ganesh, Coordinator, Dr Ambedkar guidance centre for Employment at

Coimbatore spoke about the coaching classes being conducted at the

the centre and he appealed AIIEA to start such centres in other cities also.

He proudly shared his experience and congratulated AIIEA for such initiatives.

He expressed his hope that other Trade unions also emulate the efforts of

AIIEA.

Sri K Swaminathan, General secretary, South Zone Insurance Employees Association

informed the house the activities carried out by the various divisional units in Tamil

nadu. In all divisions Dr Ambedkar death anniversary was observed as SOCIAL

JUSTICE DAY. In Tirunelveli 8 conventions have been conducted. Salem division

has taken initiative for screening of 4 shows of Dr Balasaheb Ambedkar film.

Such initiatives are taken in Chennai and Madurai also. He appreciated the Chennai LIC and

General insurance employees for having participated in the field survey on the plight

of urban dalits . Vellore divisional unit has involved significant number of its cadres

in fight for the demands of Gudiyatham dalit people. During his speech he announced

that Revenue authorities have broken the Untouchability Wall at Coimbatore which deny

pathway to adjacent dalit residents. This issue has been taken up by TNUEF. This

announcement drew thunderous applause from audience.

Sri M. Kunhikrishnan. President, SZIEF presided the convention. Sri N.Sureshkumar,

General secretary, ICEU, Madurai division also spoke. Sri R Punniamoorthy General

secretary, ICEU, Thanjavur divsion welcomed the gathering and Sri R Dharmalingam,

Vice President, SZIEF proposed vote of thanks.

1503 subscriptions were handed over to Sri Kubendran, Vice president of GIEA-SZ and

Convenor of TNUEF, Vellore district for new Quarterly magazine 'VENMANI' of TNUEF.

The convention paid homage to departed leader Com Pappa umanath who dedicated her whole life to the emancipation of downtrodden sections and led many struggles against oppression.

After the convention all the participants went to Venmani and paid homage to martyrs.

The wall blocking the road to a Dalit colony at Nagarajapuram on the outskirts of Coimbatore being demolished on Saturday.

Coimbatore: Revenue officials on Saturday demolished two portions of a one-km-long compound wall in Nagarajapuram on the outskirts of the city, which had denied Dalits in the area access to the main road. The demolition of the “untouchability wall” along two stretches of 30 ft and 23 ft has now provided residents of the Dalit colony an easier access to the main road that stretches from Thadagam Road to Thondamuthur Road.

A real estate promoter had built the wall along his layout, measuring seven feet in height and two metre in width. The residents of the Dalit colony objected to this alleged discrimination.

They contended that the real estate promoter had built the wall fearing that the sites may not fetch a good price if Dalits had access to the approach roads at the layout. The wall had forced the Dalit colony residents to take a detour of more than a km to reach the main road.

The issue was brought to the fore by the Tamil Nadu Untouchability Eradication Front (TNUEF). The approved layout plan had a reserve site on the other side of the compound wall which was shown as earmarked for a park. The approach road inside the layout from the main road ended just ahead of the park.

District convener of the TNUEF U.K. Sivagnanam was present when Tahsildars Lakshmikanthan (South) and S. Sundarrajan (North) inspected the wall. The officials first deputed a surveyor to measure the lands to ascertain the exact boundaries. The officials also checked with the local body on whether the reserve site and the approach roads in the layout had been handed over to the local body concerned.

On confirming that the layout was approved and the reserve site and approach roads had been handed over to the local body, the officials carried out the demolition on Saturday.

Using an earthmover, 30 ft length of the old compound wall at one place and another 23 ft of the new at the other end of the Dalit colony was demolished.

Swift action:The barbed wire fencing blocking the approach road to the Dalit colony in Ittikkal Agaram village, near Krishnagiri, being removed under the supervision of Revenue officials on Friday.

KRISHNAGIRI: The barbed wire fence that was erected a few days ago blocking the approach road to a Dalit colony at Ittikkal Agaram village in Krishnagiri district was removed by Revenue department officials on Friday.

Following a report in The Hindu, the district administration acted swiftly and removed the fence amidst tight security.

Collector V. Arun Roy visited the spot and heard the grievances of the people and directed the department to immediately remove the fence and pave the way for the Dalits. Oor Gounder (village leader), Nagaraj, told the Collector that the fence was erected by him on request from the Headmistress of the Panchayat Union Primary School in Ittikkal Agaram.

Revenue Officials led by A. Noor Mohamed, Revenue Divisional Officer, and Tahsildhar P.M. Rajagopal and BDOs removed the fence. There was no resistance from caste Hindus, who watched the removal of the wire and stone pillars by workers.

In a release issued in the evening, Mr. Roy warned that stringent action would be initiated against those encroaching pathways and common places.

D. Ravindran, CPI (M) district secretary, thanked Chief Minister M. Karunanidhi for his swift action in response to the announcement of direct action to remove the road block by S.K. Mahendran, Perambur MLA of the party.

இட்டிக்கல் அகரம் கிரா மத்தில் தொடரும் ஒடுக்கு முறையின் விளைவாக தலித் மக்களின் பயன்பாட்டில் இருந்து பொதுக்கிணறு, பாதை, வழிபாட்டுத் தலத் தைச் சுற்றி வளைத்து ஆதிக்க சக்திகள் முள்வேலி அமைத்துள்ளனர். வியாழ னன்று(அக்.14) இவற்றை பார்வையிட்ட மார்க்சிஸ்ட் கம்யூனிஸ்ட் கட்சியின் சட்ட மன்ற உறுப்பினர் கே. மகேந் திரன் உள்ளிட்ட குழுவினர் உடனடியாக முள்வேலி அகற்றப்பட வேண்டும் என கோட்டாட்சியரிடம் வலி யுறுத்தினர்.

கிருஷ்ணகிரி வட்டம் இட்டிக்கல் அகரம் கிராமத் தில் தலித் மக்களுக்கு 1976 ஆம் ஆண்டு சுமார் 186 ஏக் கர் நிலத்தை சாகுபடிக்கென தமிழக அரசு வழங்கியது. புல எண் 73/4, 167 உள்ள இந்த நிலம் அரசு ஆவணங் களில் தாழ்த்தப்பட்டோ ருக்கு ஒதுக்கப்பட்டதாக வும் பதிவானது. மொத்தம் 62 குடும்பங்கள் பாதிக்கப் பட்டன. இவற்றில் 3 தலித் குடும்பங்கள் மட்டும் பல் வேறு போராட்டங்களை சந்தித்து நிலத்தை தக்க வைத்துள்ளன. 59 குடும்பங் கள் கிராமத்திலுள்ள ஆதிக்க சக்திகளால் நிலத்திலிருந்து விலக்கி வைக்கப்பட்டுள்ள னர். பின்னர் நிலத்தை ஆக் கிரமித்து தலித் அல்லாதோர் அனுபவித்து வருகின்றனர்.

பாதிக்கப்பட்ட தலித் குடும்பத்தினர் 2004ஆம் ஆண்டு மாவட்ட நிர்வாகத் திடம் முறையிட்டதைத் தொடர்ந்து மாற்று இட மாக புல எண் 17812-ல் சாகு படி செய்ய அனுமதிக்கப் பட்டனர். 2006ஆம் ஆண்டு வன நிர்ணய அலுவலர் இந்நிலங்களை ஆய்வு செய்து இந்நிலங்களில் உள்ள சாகு படியாளர்களுக்கு பட்டா வழங்கலாம் என மாவட்ட நிர்வாகத்திற்கு அறிக்கை அளித்துள்ளார். ஆனால் நீதிமன்றத்தின் மூலம் தற் போது ஒரு தடையாணை பெற்றுள்ள வனத்துறையி னர், சாகுபடி செய்வதை தடுத் துள்ளனர். இச்சம்பவங் களின் பின்னணி யில் வனக் குழு தலைவரான நாகராஜ் இருந்து வருவதாக தலித் மக்கள் கூறுகின்றனர். இவர் இக்கிராமத்தின் ஊர் கவுண் டராக இருந்து கொண்டு தலித் மக்களுக்கு எதிரான ஒடுக்குமுறைகளுக்கும் தலைமை தாங்குகிறார்.

நாகராஜ் தலைமையி லான ஒரு கும்பல் கடந்த வாரம் தலித் மக்கள் வசிக் கும் பகுதியிலுள்ள, அவர் கள் பயன்பாட்டில் இருந்த பொது இடங்களை ஆக்கிர மித்து முள்வேலி அமைந் துள்ளது. இதுகுறித்து மாவட்ட ஆட்சியரிடம் திங்களன்று (அக்.11) குறை தீர்க்கும் நாள் கூட்டத்தில் மனு கொடுத்துள்ளனர். இந்நிலையில் மார்க்சிஸ்ட் கம்யூனிஸ்ட் கட்சியின் சார் பில் மகேந்திரன் எம்.எல்.ஏ, மாவட்டச் செயலாளர் டி. ரவீந்திரன், வட்டச் செயலா ளர் ஜி.கே. நஞ்சுண்டன், ஆர். சங்கர், பெரியசாமி ஆகியோரைக் கொண்ட குழு வியாழனன்று இட்டிக் கல் அகரம் கிராமத்திற்கு சென்றது. முள்வேலி அமைக் கப்பட்டுள்ள நிலத்தையும், அதன் ஆவணங்களையும் பார்வையிட்டனர். பாதிக் கப்பட்ட மக்களை சந்தித்து விசாரித்தனர். பின்னர் வரு வாய் கோட்டாட்சியர் ஏ. நூர் முகமதுவை சந்தித்தனர்.

முள்வேலி உடனடியாக அகற்றப்பட வேண்டும், இட்டிக்கல் அகரத்தில் வன் கொடுமைகளுக்கு காரண மான நபர்கள் கைது செய் யப்பட வேண்டும் என்று வலியுறுத்தினார்கள்.

KRISHNAGIRI: An approach road to a Dalit colony in Ittikkal Agaram village, 15 km from Krishnagiri, has been blocked with a barbed wire fence by a section of people. According to the people in the colony, the fence was erected by the locals with the support of the ‘Ooor Goundar' (Village Leader). The Communist Party of India (Marxist) is planning to engage in direct action to remove the fence, party MLA S. K. Mahendran, announced on Thursday. After visiting the colony, Mr. Mahendran told The Hindu that if the authorities failed to remove the fence within a week, the party cadres will tear it down and clear the way for the Dalits, who, he said, faced oppression in many ways at the hands of the local caste Hindus. The practice of village leader controlling things in the district was a matter of shame, he said. Only elected bodies should have control over common issues . The district administration and the police should bring an end to this system of extra-judicial authority, he said. He also said caste Hindus were indulging in violence against the Dalits by not allowing them to do farming on the land allotted to them by the district administration. Mr. Mahendran along with D. Ravindran, District Secretary of the CPI (M), met Revenue Divisional Officer A. Noor Mohamed and urged him to remove the fence. The RDO promised to take appropriate action after verifying the documents and survey the land within two days.
