HC ORDERED CBI ENQUIRY ON PARAMAKUDI FIRING
Today HC bench at Madurai ordered CBI enquiry on Police firing at Paramakudi on 11.09.2011
in which 6 dalits were killed. Several organisations including TAMILNADU UNTOUCHABILITY ERADICATION FRONT filed cases in HC demanding CBI enquiry. Legal team led by Senior advocate Sri N.G.R. Prasad argued the case on behalf of Com K. Samuelraj, General secretary, TNUEF. Our AIIEA cadres of Madurai lent assistance in documentation to the legal team by visiiting the homes of the victims in villages. Today our cadres were in court in good number when order was pronounced. We congratulate all the cadres involved in the fight against social oppression.
